How to install the SPC Wall Panels？

Preparations before installation

Base treatment: Ensure the wall surface is smooth, dry, and free of loose particles, with a flatness tolerance of within 3mm.If the wall is damp, you need to carry out moisture-proof treatment first.If there are cracks or unevenness on the wall, use cement mortar to level it.

Material storage: The 12''x12'' SPC wall panels should be transported to the construction site in advance and stored in a room temperature environment for more than 24 hours.Adapt to the ambient temperature and avoid deformation due to thermal expansion and contraction after installation.

Tool preparation: Tape measure, level, utility knife,wall panel buckle, skirting board, sealant.

Key points for installation procedures

Line positioning: Use a spirit level to mark the reference line and ensure the installation levelness of the first wall panel. This is the foundation for ensuring the overall wall surface is flat.

Splicing method: Prioritize locking buckle splicing, align the male and female buckles of the wall panel, and lightly tap to secure them.The joint areas should be seamless and tight to prevent any warping in the later stage.When splicing, pay attention to consistent texture direction to ensure visual aesthetics.

Fixing method: Use a combination of snap fasteners and structural adhesive for double fixation.The buckle is installed in the back slot of the wall panel.The structural adhesive is evenly applied to the contact area between the wall panel and the wall surface, which not only enhances the stability but also serves the functions of vibration reduction and sound insulation.It is strictly prohibited to directly nail iron nails into the wall panel to prevent damage to the board structure.

Detail treatment: Special corner lines are used at the corners to create a neat and aesthetically pleasing finish. This ensures that the corners are straight and well-shaped.Reserve a 5-8mm joint at the connection between the wall panel and the ground/ceiling, and fill it with sealant.Adapt to thermal expansion and contraction.The positions of sockets and switches need to be accurately measured, and holes should be opened with a hole opener.Prevent the cracking of the sheet material.

After installation acceptance and maintenance, check：

Overall flatness of the wall surface?Is the seam tight?Are the corners (both the interior and exterior) straight?Avoid sharp and hard objects from hitting during daily use.If there are stubborn stains on the surface, you can wipe them with a neutral cleaner.Do not use strong acid or alkali cleaning agents.
