I. Preparation:
A. Ensure the wall is clean and smooth, with no debris or loose particles. Repair any damaged or irregular areas on the wall.
B. Measure and mark the required position for the WPC wall panels, taking into account the panel size and any architectural or design considerations.
C. Prepare the necessary tools and materials, including WPC wall panels, screws, adhesive (if necessary), tape measure, level, drill, and saw.
II. Horizontal Installation Method:
A. First, install the starting strip or bottom trim at the bottom edge of the wall. This will provide a stable foundation for the first row of WPC wall panels.
B. Apply building adhesive (according to the manufacturer's instructions) on the back or surface of the first wall panel.
C. Align the first wall panel horizontally and ensure it is level and vertical. Use anti-corrosion screws to fix the wall panel to the wall.
D. For subsequent wall panels, repeat this process to ensure proper alignment and spacing between each panel. If necessary, trim the last wall panel to fit the remaining space.
E. Install the J-shaped trim or edge trim at the top edge of the wall to provide a finished appearance and cover any exposed edges.
III. Vertical Installation Method:
A. First, similar to the horizontal installation method, install the starting strip or bottom trim at the bottom edge of the wall.
B. According to the manufacturer's instructions, apply building adhesive on the back of the first wall panel or on the wall surface.
C. Align the first wall panel vertically and ensure its vertical and horizontal alignment. Use screws to fix it to the wall and ensure that the screw heads sink into the surface to achieve a flush effect.
D. Continue to install the subsequent wall panels, aligning them vertically and maintaining consistent spacing. If necessary, trim the last wall panel to fit the remaining space.
E. Install J-shaped trim or edge trim on the sides and top of the wall to achieve a neat and elegant appearance.
IV. Installation Method of Concealed Fasteners:
A. Some WPC wall panel systems adopt a concealed fastener system to achieve a seamless appearance without visible screws or nails.
B. Follow the manufacturer's instructions of the specific concealed fastener system used. Usually, clips or brackets need to be installed on the back of each wall panel and connected to the wall surface.
C. Securely fix each wall panel to the wall by sliding it into the installed clips or brackets, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
D. Complete the installation by adding edge trim or other decorative elements to cover the exposed edges and provide a professional appearance.
